Shayne Elian Jay Pattynama, born on August 11, 1998, in Lelystad, Netherlands, is a professional footballer primarily known for his role as a left-back or left wing-back. Having played for various clubs in the Netherlands, Norway, and Belgium, he is also a notable member of the Indonesian national football team. His career has seen him develop into a versatile defender capable of contributing both defensively and offensively.

Pattynama's youth career began in the renowned academies of SV Lelystad '67, Ajax, and FC Utrecht. He transitioned into senior football with Jong FC Utrecht, the reserve team of FC Utrecht, making his debut in 2017. This initial experience in the Dutch second tier provided him with crucial professional exposure.

Following his time with Jong FC Utrecht, Pattynama moved to SC Telstar in 2019, where he continued to gain valuable playing time. Despite the 0-2 loss, his debut was highly emotional and a significant moment for him, playing in front of a packed Gelora Bung Karno Stadium in Jakarta.
