Pratama Arhan - Skills and Goals

Pratama Arhan Alif Rifai, born on December 21, 2001, is an Indonesian professional footballer renowned for his role as a left-back. He began his youth career at SSB Putra Mustika and SSB Terang Bangsa before joining PSIS Semarang's youth setup. His talent quickly shone through, particularly his powerful throw-ins and free-kicks, which have become a significant weapon for both his clubs and the national team.

Arhan made his senior debut for PSIS Semarang in 2020. During his time with PSIS, he played in 9 league matches. He gained national attention for his performances in the 2021 Menpora Cup, a tournament preceding the Liga 1 season, where he scored two goals and was recognized as the tournament's Best Young Player. His displays earned him a spot in the Menpora Cup Best Eleven.

His impressive form with PSIS Semarang and the Indonesian national team caught the eye of clubs abroad. In February 2022, Arhan made a significant move to Japan, joining J2 League club Tokyo Verdy on a two-year contract. While his time there saw limited appearances, with only 2 league games across two seasons, it provided him with valuable experience in a different footballing culture.

After his stint in Japan, Arhan moved to South Korea, signing with K League 1 club Suwon FC in January 2024. His debut for Suwon FC in May 2024, however, was brief and unfortunately resulted in a red card just three minutes after coming on as a substitute. He made a total of 2 appearances for Suwon FC.

In January 2025, Arhan made another move, this time to Thailand, joining Thai League 1 club Bangkok United. He swiftly made an impact, debuting just five days after signing and even providing a crucial assist in an AFC Champions League Two match. As of late June 2025, he has played 11 matches in the Thai League for Bangkok United during the 2024/2025 season.

On the international stage, Pratama Arhan has been a consistent fixture for the Indonesian national team across various age groups. He debuted for the U-19 team in September 2020 and for the senior national team in May 2021. He has amassed over 50 caps for the senior team, scoring 3 goals. He was a vital part of the Indonesian squad that reached the final of the 2020 AFF Championship, where he was named in the Team of the Tournament and also received the Young Player of the Tournament award.

His strong performances for Indonesia have made him a fan favorite and a key player under coach Shin Tae-yong. He continues to be called up for significant international fixtures, including World Cup qualifiers and the AFC Asian Cup, where his long throw-ins and defensive solidity are highly valued.

As of current information (June 2025), Pratama Arhan is under contract with Bangkok United FC until June 30, 2028. There have been no concrete rumors reported about a potential transfer from Bangkok United at this time. He is focused on contributing to his current club in the Thai League and AFC Champions League Two.
