Sandy Henny Walsh, born on March 14, 1995, in Brussels, Belgium, is a professional footballer who primarily operates as a right-back, though he can also play as a center-back or even on the right side of midfield. He is a key defensive player for J1 League club Yokohama F. Marinos and an important member of the Indonesian national team. His career has seen him compete in top leagues in Belgium and now Japan.
Walsh's football journey began in youth academies, including Tempo Overijse, ERC Hoeilaart, Anderlecht, and then KRC Genk. He made his professional debut for Genk on September 2, 2012. During his time at Genk, he won the Belgian Cup in the 2012-2013 season and was a runner-up in the Belgian Super Cup.
In the summer of 2017, Walsh moved to Zulte Waregem, where he continued to develop his game and gained more consistent playing time. He was part of the squad that finished as runner-up in the Belgian Super Cup in 2017. Later, in October 2020, he joined another Belgian club, Mechelen, where he spent several seasons.
On February 9, 2025, Sandy Walsh made a significant move to Asian football, joining J1 League club Yokohama F. Marinos.
